Jami Black
Director of Admissions
Jami’s journey with Alzar School began in 2010 as a student on one of the school’s initial summer programs. Now the Director of Admissions, Jami is also a former staff member and held a number of responsibilities in admissions and marketing over the past four years. Born in Seattle and raised in upstate New York, her family was called back to the mountains and rivers of the west and moved out to Idaho. Jami spent much of her summers outdoors, which led her to connect with Alzar School in high school. Jami attended Saint Mary’s College of California, where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. Jami’s passion for education blossomed while working at a Montessori School and she has worked to connect young people and their families with educational opportunities outside of the traditional high school experience ever since. When not at work, you can find Jami coordinating play dates for her boxer dog, Pretzel, and spending time with her husband Corden. You can email Jami Black or call at +1(833) 862-5927 x 709.
