Sara Gerall

Associate Director of Admissions: Data Specialist

Sara was born and raised in North Carolina and spent her summers outdoors exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. She took a brief hiatus from life on the east coast in high school, traveling to Tasmania, Australia as an exchange student. Her love of the outdoors coaxed her to the mountains for college where she attended UNC Asheville, double majoring in mathematics and sociology.  After graduating, Sara began formally sharing her love of the outdoors through summer camp administration and environmental education at Green River Preserve and Eagle’s Nest Foundation.  Sara is excited to join the Alzar School community and to share her passions for the outdoors and international travel with students!  In her free time, she loves hiking, traveling, and cooking with and for friends and family.
